How it Works - Designing your Memorial or Momento piece

1. Choose your item(s)

Have a look at the Catalog & Gallery pages to see which style(s) you are interested in personalizing. The photo on each listing is just an example - you choose whether you'd like to re-create that design, or would prefer to design with your own colour choices! The most popular styles are listed for sale, if you are looking for an item, quantity or combination of items that is not shown - please reach out through the Contact Form for assistance.

2. Place an Order or Get a Free Quote

When you are ready to order there are two options:

Shop Online - Browse our online catalog selection and order your favourite pieces by adding them to your cart and using our secure checkout. You'll receive an order confirmation and within 24 business hours a team member will follow up with your next steps, starting with step 3!

Order by Form - If you would prefer to order by talking with a human, please fill out the short Contact Form with details on which piece(s) you're interested in purchasing, or if you have any questions about the process. Within 24 business hours a team member will follow up with your next steps!

3. Pick your colour(s)

Each Soulstra piece is individually hand made with a design that starts with you!

Once your order has been placed you'll want to start thinking about what colour(s) you would like each item to be. Don't worry though... we will go over your colour choices and design in detail together.

You are able to select the colour(s) for each bead you order - they could be as similar or different as you would like. Embelish your item with small flowers, hearts, paw prints, polka dots etc.

Depending on which piece we are creating there may be a limit to the number of colours you can combine - see the item's listing details for specifics.

If you have questions about the colour selections, or would like artist suggestions - we are happy to help!

4. Provide your inclusion(s)

Once your order has been placed you will need to provide the inclusions. This will be done through the mail. Soulstra may create Memorial and Momento pieces using your provided inclusion of ash cremains, hair or fur, beach sand or soil, or dehydrated breast milk. Within 1 business day or your order you'll receive specific instructions, depending on which inclusion(s) you would like to use.

5. Allow processing time

Depending on the size and complexity of your order the processing time may vary. The typical processing time is about 10-15 business days from the time your inclusions are received. If you'd like to request your order be completed or received by a certain date please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate! If your order requires shipping, you will receive a tracking number update as soon as it has been sent.

Inclusion of cremains(cremated ashes) :

These pieces are made as a memorial tribute to a lost loved one or pet

Inclusion of Hair or Fur :

As an example, these pieces could be made as a memorial token for a lost loved one or pet, or even a unique tribute to a current pet

Inclusion of Sand or Soil :

These pieces are made as a tribute to a special location or as a momento from an unforgettable trip.

Inclusion of Breast Milk :

As an exmaple, these pieces could be made as a general tribute to motherhood or to memorialize a late term or newborn loss. The breast milk needs to be dehydrated prior to ordering. Contact us for more info.
